Why do so many of these ads say "Selling for a friend"

 

I going to have to say because there are quite a few people out there that no nothing about computers, so they have a friend list it for them. I personally know a few people that just don't use computers and barely know how to use their cell phone.

 

Looks like the front bench seat has a release in back which I think they started in '67(?) My '66 bench seat does not have that.

 

Same with my 66

The thing is if they would spend a week or two cleaning, detailing and maybe have the engine running, it'd be an easy $19,000 car. It appears complete for the most part even if it's somewhat incorrect. Looks to be fairly solid.

 

you wouldnt even have to spend more than a day just to get it a little more presentable. Thats a huge pet peeve of mine. I dont get why people dont make thier junk look just a little bit more presentable. The adds with the transmission and various other parts in the trunk always make me reach for pills too.
I wouldnt go near that car with a bid before seeing under the car some more. Maybe its just me, but it looks like the car is sitting on some plywood, surrounded by mud. The engine compartment doesnt look too bad though. Oh, and trying to read the add gives me a headache too.

 

I’d pay $15k if it includes everything in the picture… the Vega next to it or what ever that is, the oxy tank, shed, used tires bird houses 🤓

That car was on there once before, supposedly it sold. I remember because of the pic inside the carport with the maverick beside it. there where several comments asking if the other car was for sale as well.
