I'll share cam specs.. Here you go lift .753 .731 duration @ .050 263 271...
I talked to Bullet cams this week about a camshaft for an 11:1 compression 565 with Brodix BB3 327's, they liked 266 276 785 795 112 lobe sep 298 311 advertised. That's a lotta lift for a street car eh?. Makes sense though, those heads are bad to the bone.
I think I'm just gonna stick that 262 272 714 714 110 lobe sep Crane I have in it though, and we'll make it around 740 750 with the rocker ratio. To keep the valve springs in it. I bet that little Crane cam will make power to 7000 rpm on the dyno, 565 with BB3 heads, with that camshaft. If I do buy a 266 276 cam for it, it ain't gonna be 790, not for the street.
I bought two sets of those BB3 327's when I got the set for the third Gen Camaro, we were gonna build a 505 for the second set, but Jeff pulled the trigger on a new Merlin block, so we're gonna do a 11:1 565, Mahle powerPak coated pistons.
That's gonna be a nice 532 combo you're doing, that's a sweet deal you went with Tony on the machine work, super cool cat, we bought a All Pro raised runner top end from Tony, good businessman, he does everything he says he's gonna do and on time. You can't do any better than that, doing business. Good move.
