What is a completely assembled '67 327(crank,rods,pistons,cam and lifters, balancer, oil pan,) short block worth. Stander bore (original pistons), crank has been turned. Has about 500 miles on the rebuild.
The suffix code is EE = 327,275 hp. The date code is C-3-7 = March 3th of '67.Has the block been decked? If not, what is the suffex code. The casting # and date code are important to some. There were some 50 different suffex codes used on 327's in 67 depending on the application. There were 5 or 6 casting # used on 327's in 67 also.
If someone were building, say a 67 Nova L79 clone, those #s might be important. The blocks were all the same. The heads, intakes, carbs ect. are the hard to find, and expensive parts for the high HP versions.
With that said I'd say $100.00 to $400.00 depending on what you have.
The casting and date cods are found on the top of the rear flange.
The pics are of a 67 327 block from a 350hp corvette.
Bill, the engine is out of my Chevelle.George,
"EE" could be a '67 Chevelle w/auto.
If I close this car deal I'm working on, I may be interested if the price is right...![]()
