I think I scored. I need a new 3.76 inch stroke steel crank for my 427, and a completely rebuilt 366 came up for auction at our local School board maintenance yard. It was built by a very reputable builder on Vancouver Island and I got it for a high bid of $311. All I really want are the thumb rods and the crank. The heads casting numbers are 473328 which would be an open chamber 68-69 head for a 366 truck. They have been built for propane so I would imagine they would have had hardened seats put into them. I was just wondering if they were worth anything?

 $311!? Great deal. Why not just leave it together and run it? I dont know anything about them though.
366 is an industrial engine for trucks Brett. It is a tall deck block but shares the same crank and rods as a 396, 402, 427. I need/want the crank and rods for my 427. The rest I have not yet decided what I am going to do with it.

The 366 four bolt main caps can be used to convert a standard deck two bolt block to four bolt status.
Thanks Dan! I did not know that.
