Where was it stored under water? Never seen coil packs look that bad. You say everything is unknown it’s worth scrap weight .18 a lbs.

lol, you're not use to northern vehicles, especially a van that encases the motor and traps moisture/salt.

I'd pull the valve covers and get pics when you post it for sale, that gives an indication of maintenance. The pass side will always be cleaner than the driver's side due to PCV air flow.

I would look around marketplace in your area and see what they're going for. I'd shoot for $750 and see if you get any bites, then drop the price if you don't get any bites.

Well I look into it. According to person I got it from was a running van body was rusted. Like I said don't know about these types of engines but I know if engine oil is clean and tranny fluid was red should be healthy and was taken care of. Will pull a valve cover and check condition good tip Hotwire. The tranny sold was installed and works perfect the guy could not be any happier. The heads are aluminum the block may be aluminum I see no rust on block will put a magnet to it. Have some intersect in intake with throttle body and the funny part some guy wants to buy just the wire harness and brackets. Will put on Marketplace and see what happens. For now will try to sell all parts together. Sale of trans already covered cost of both pieces. Will sell the engine with the new engine hoist they bought to remove the engine from van got that also in the sale. Forget I also have the aluminum 4" drive shaft with 32 spline trans yoke 1350 series U joints attached from the van.

Damn, I’m surprised it’s not a 6.0 being in a 2500 van. Hopefully it’s not a 4.8.

4.8 has flat top pistons and a 5.3 is dished.
