specifically box #78, 79 front and rear carpet.

Can seem to find a list of the codes used for all the boxes.

They aren't that common to find. I do have a few - about 8 that are readable. What body style, what interior color and bench or bucket?

Bench seat, coupe. 754 Medium gold per the build sheet. Interior was changed to black by PO. Just trying to find out what the original carpet colors were. No intent to change them back.

For what its worth, I have a '68 Caprice with Ash Gold exterior and Ivy Gold interior built at the Wilmington plant, and box 78 and 79 on my build sheet are blank. Box 94 under them says TRIM COLOR V GLD.

Andyp3, I have a '68 Fremont built 2dr post coupe with ash gold interior 778, I know its not the same color as yours, but on my build sheet, box #78- Front carpet is code GH. Box #79 Rear Carpet is code JH. Hope this helps. Terry

I think I need to rephrase the question. On my Fremont build sheet box 78 front carpet has "AH".
Box 79 rear carpet has code "DH". What colors are those?

Not to sound obvious but carpets are color keyed to match whatever the interior trim code is. There just aren't that many 68 Fremont build sheets around for anyone to have collected all the data from them - at least nobody I know has.

I have quite a bit of data on 1970 - 1972 Chevelles from most plants. Earlier model years from the Fremont plant are hard to dcome by. Same for Body and Chassis Broadcast copy sheets for 64-69 model years. One has to remember that once the car was built, these were trash as far as the assembly plant was concerned. If they were not seen at final inspection time due to their being 'hidden' in upholstry, behind door panels, on top of gas tanks, etc. they stayed 'hidden' until people began tearing these cars down for rebuilding and find them.
