Howdy, I’m 44, 54, or 64… not sure which :giggle: Currently I’m a DoD Civilian and Readiness Officer at Ft Lewis, WA. What is a Readiness Officer? I’m glad you asked. I monitor and report the readiness posture/levels of our Army units at JBLM, WA, 25ID in HI, and the 11th ABN DIV in AK. I’m blessed to be working with America’s finest, our US Army Soldiers, Warrant Officers, and Officers.

46 year old procurement manager for the glass division of a little family owned winery.
Semi-retired in 2021 from Gallo Winery after 41 years. Working part time as a consultant for Gallo for the last 2 years. Obviously a bit older than 46 now since this post was from 2008.

65, retired following a 45 year career in commercial aviation. Been working on cars for over 50 years. Currently restoring 71 Chevelle Malibu with a 454. Complete rebuild with all new sheet metal. My shop is my sanctuary! Loving every minute of it. As soon as the Chevelle is finished (I have another 6 months or so to go) I'll roll in my 69 Firebird. Gotts keep busy.

56 now, (holy shit!), Bought it back in 1982. Restored in 91. Added many options over the years. Technology Consultant. Same company for 37 years.

Invaluable sight!!

I am 65, and a retired judge. Grew up poor. Always wanted a nicely restored car growing up, but couldn’t afford it. While working my way through college and law school, everything I earned went to buy books or to pay tuition. Finally got to have my “hobby” when I was older, and had some disposable income. Over the years, I’ve done a restomod of a 72 Pinto; restored a 74 Super Beetle; a restomod of a 70 Nova, and two restomods of 69 Camaros. Now working on a 59 F100 restomod, and a 68 Chevelle restomod.

I am 39 who loves Jesus first and foremost with a wonderful family. I work at the Jack Daniels distillery and have been there for the last 16 years. My dream car has always been a 67 chevelle and some how I wound up with one trading a Harley road glide for it. It was a drop keys trade. I couldn’t believe it.

75 and am still working. I'm a semi-retired residential appliance repair tech. Been doing this on my own since 1979.
Also been a car guy all my life...from model cars as a kid to my '55 Chevy and '68 Chevelle which I still have. I very own the '55 for 60 years and the '68 Chevelle going on 55 years.
