Just look at the picture that shows where the lower fender and rocker come together, then look at the rocker/door jam picture where the rust was just painted over, plus the list of all the car needs.......WOW! That car is a mess! Someone would be money ahead spending double that BIN price for a project that isn't a polished turd.

A good example of what not to do in restoration. Why paint over rusted areas? Says engine needs rebuilt. Why even bother to paint it if needs to be torn down? Hope some poor SOB don't get taken in by $100 worh of paint.

look at the bottom of the door in one of the pictures, who would do something like that? Im sure the rest of the car is the same way, that car is a MESS

I would be totally leery. Looks like a very fresh paint job-no handles, mirror, antenna, etc. Engine is freshly painted and bolted in, but nothing is hooked to it. I would bet at the bid price, it's a decent starting point, though I would want to see underneath to be sure. Here in MN, that's a restorable car but it needs a TON of add-ons to even make it run and drive.

My initial impression is maybe even a swapped over body onto an existing frame.

I've watched this car cycle several times on ebay. Each time it garnered bids, each time the deal didn't stick. This car is a good example of one that superficialy draws your eye, but as you look closer, well you get the point. The color stands out in the photos and contrasts well with the ss wheels, the stripes are a stinkin' shame. Front ones ok, but the rear deck:WTH? This is a malibu that can't quite get the deal done, we'll see.

and more importantly, where is that SOB from Parking Wars?

Parking on the sidewalk? OMG---- You would have to sit and watch Home & Garden for 10 days straight for that sentence.
