Part Description:
Now you can give your Chevelle some added strength with this is pair of exact reproduction rear frame crossmember braces. These braces were originally installed on Super Sports with manual transmissions in order to provide extra frame strength. These braces bolt on to the control arms and the frame.

Part Notes:

Part Applications:
1964 Chevelle, 1965 Chevelle, 1966 Chevelle, or 1967 Chevelle
Not sure of the quality of the repros, but I have had several originals that have been cracked around the bolt holes... For an "original" show car, these repros will probably work great... For real strength/rigidity, I'd go with an aftermarket set like Edelbrock, etc...

the control arm braces that came on 4-speed cars from 64-67 (or at least on 66/67). just not running across any that will fit my '67.
On the 66/67, they came on ALL BB cars, automatics and 4-speeds, as well as El Caminos... Not sure if they came on any small block cars (66/67), even 4-speeds, except L-79s...
