well guys it's been a while since I've been here. Took a while off from the chevelle to get married. Now that the big day has passed it's time to get back to my other love and finish her up. I am on the fence with painting my 70 chevelle. i was lucky enough to find a build sheet in my car when we started to take her apart. turns out i have a real ss that came with a 396 in it and the original color was red.....i don't have the matching number motor in the car so i guess that leaves me with an open road to not going with all original parts...$ with that said i went with a few bells and whistles with the suspension, brakes, motor, wheels and tires..ect so what would you do? go with the original paint to keep it classic like and hide all the unseen upgrades? or go crazy with it and do something out of the norm????? i know it's my car and it's whatever i see fit but i like opinions from vets and everyone in between. i would appreciate all response. thank you in advance.
