Does anyone know what size,grade,thread type of bolt to use for the installation of the frame bracket on my '69 396 chevelle? I can see the 2 holes that the bolts go into on top of the frame. Is it a good idea to use a couple of spot welds on the sides for extra security? Thanks in advance.

Get yourself some grade 8, 3/8th's bolts. (9/16 wrench size) Welding not needed, could use lock washer and a drop of thread locker.
