My buddy and I take his 71 GSX Stage 1 clone to Cecil Cty Dragway last nite. Oil pressure during the drive down was low, about 20 psi at about 2500 rpm cruise. At idle, it was dipping down below 10 psi. Most normal people would of stopped right there. He kinda dismissed it, thinking it was the guage. He runs it twice down the track. On the way home, oil pressue at a stop is like 0-2psi. He pulls over and wanst me to take it for a drive so he can feel the power form the passenger seat. Like a dumb@ss I get in there and drop the hammer and go through all the gears.
Then comes the rod knock.
