About 3 days ago something happened to my computer, I dont know if I got one of those hidden programs that sneak onto your computer when you go to some websites. Its very slow, when I scroll its very jerky, if I type something the letters dont show up until im about 2 words past that point. I scanned with an updated Norton A/V, have zone alarm on as always, scanned with
Ad Alarm, scanned and defragged. Nothing helped.
I'm thinking there may be some spyware or another program running at the same time.
Any ideas?????
Thanks.

OK, here we go, these are all configured to start up when the computer is booted up.

Taskbar display control DLL
Window washer EXE
scan registry EXE
system tray EXE
load power profile DLL
multi funtion keyboard EXE
ensoniqmixer EXE
norton EXE
still image monitor EXE
pointer EXE
win main EXE
tkbellexe EXE
winmodem EXE
load power profile DLL
true vector EXE
zone alarm EXE
Iomega startup options EXE
zip disk icons EXE
refresh EXE

I see that "load power profile DLL is on there twice and they have the same title all the way across, and they are both checked to start up. Is this right?

Well, I've done all that and it still didnt help anything. I just typed this first sentence and none of it showed on my screen until I put the period on the end, thats how slow this is. This just started about 3 days ago, thats why I thought it might be some kind of AD ware or something.
Thanks Guys.
