what alternator and bracket is good for my bbc

1969 chevelle ,i have power sterring and a CSI electric water pump,what bracket works good for this setup,and what amp alternator should i use, running a electric fuel pump,waterpump,fans.is 100 amp fine ,i drag race but street use to.but i really need to find a good bracket ,any help.thanks .steve

Use at least a 100 amp alternator wired as a 3 wire. Be more concerned with what the alternator puts out at idle than the max rating. You need good output at idle with all that stuff running. I use a Powermaster 12SI 140 amp. A CS-130 would also be a good choice.

Stock setup is fine. I use the "long arm" earlier style bracket. Oversized pulley on the alt and it runs to 7200 rpms no problem. Never spit a belt. Bling is OK too, but not required for good service at R's.
