Well I spent all night last night trying to get my computer working right. I did not open any attachments or anything. I am surfing around the normal car sites that I am on regularly. Out of nowhere my virus alert starts freaking out. It says it found a W32.Blaster.Worm and deleted it. Well 5 min later the computer crashes. I brought it back up and it crashed again in about another 5 min. This went on all night. I checked and ran my scan and it would find nothing. Since I was still having problems I went ahead and followed all the procedures at the Symantec web site. After finally downloading a link to a Microsoft security patch I think I am OK. I think this nasty bug was jumping back in faster than my virus protection could catch it. My histy shows that it deleted that virus 3 times in the last 8 hours.
If you have not done so I highly recommend you install this patch.
