Can someone tell me if there is some kind of end cap that covers where the pillar meets the header, or does the vinyl that covers the header stretch over this area as well? It's been awhile since I took things apart and I want to repair this area to the proper shape it needs to be. Any pics of this area of your cars would be great.

PS this is off my 72 but I am pretty sure it is exactly the same

On my '69 it just folded over and glued down. There were no 'end caps' as such. I just used contact cement and made it as simple a fold as possible.

Thanks for the input! Looks like the weatherstrip covers some of the area in question. Now I just need to fix the rust and put on the vinyl.
