I've been trying for 3 weeks to get you at Lunati. What is the best day and time to catch you there?

OK Harold,
I have a 468 BBC, running 10.3:1 compression under GM aluminum oval heads. Edelbrock RPM intake, 800cfm DP carb, MSD Pro-Billet distributer, 6AL.
All of this in a automatic 3800lb 70 Chevelle with probably 3.73 gears.
I need a hydraulic roller recommendation(for drivability purposes) as well as a solid roller recommendation for good measure.
A Team Chevelle member suggested your HR4 cam which I believe you have reground?
He said I definately want it on the 296 grind and thought with my better flowing heads, a 241 duration @ .050 would be about right. I think I would want it on a 110 LSA just for the nice lopey idle quality too. What do you think? Oh, also need spring recommendation for the HR4.

Now, as far as the solid roller goes...I like the look of the 502A1 but, on a 110 LSA.
How much power/torque difference is there in these two cams. I would like to get deep into the 11's.

Real quick, because I have a 3:30 Engineering meeting....
For a hydraulic roller, I have a 292/302 with 240/250 at .050, .600"/.600" valve lift. It should make about 540-550 BHP in a 10:1 CR 468.
I can also make a 240/244, same lift.
If you prefer the solid roller, I have made the 278/290 for almost 20 years, using it as a daily driver. I have ran its' big brother, the 290/300, in the 24 HOurs of LeMans, in SBCs. Two cars, 24 hours, ZERO broken valve springs, still running at the end---They did break some transmissions, though.
The solid roller will work fine on 110 LSA, and should make about 570-590 BHP in your combo.
Both hydraulic roller and solid roller are very dependable for street driving.
