I have checked the ground wires and replaced the bulb, but I cannot get the front left turn signal to work in my '70. It glows bight as if the signal is on constant, but will not flash or glow dim with the parking lights on, it stays bright. Any thoughts??
Does it work with the parking lights off? If it is always bright regardless of whether parking lights are on or not, using a test light or DMM, check the 20g light blue either at the socket or at the steering column connector.

See if voltage swings or the test light blinks. If it only won't blink with the parking lights on, then most likely its a ground problem. Take a piece of wire, jam one end between the bulb and socket (do not insert to far), connect the other end to a good bare metal ground. See if it works correctly then.
