has any one had a 400 explode mine developed a whine and a slight shake at about 50 mph and higher but it shifted fine was rebuilt about 1500 miles ago so i stopped by the trans shop and picked up the trans guy to go for a ride to see if he could tell me what he thought got on hi way brought it up to about 55 and boom it broke the case in two places broke drive shaft in two took out cross member brake cables exhaust teeth on starter and ring gear dented new floor pan took it out today will find out what let go soon and havent opened rear yet but will take a look too

no didnt have any thing done it started whineing first and was for awhile then viberation started at hiway speed like i said it was shifting fine and checked rear last week just for the heck of it everything looked great pinion lash oil was clean nothing lose and put another drive shaft in with new joints and it didnt change anything
