I'll be honest. Having never been particularly interested in the intracacies of timing, vacuum inches, etc. etc. I'm looking for step by step advice on what to do to get my 69 Chevelle convertible with stock 350, mild cam, newly rebuilt Q-jet, 350 TH, 3.08 rear tuned for decent street cruising. Mainly, the car is driven on weekends, to cruise nights and an occasional show. Once in awhile, it's fun to open the secondaries for a thrill. As I'm sure this combination has been done countless times everywhere including this site, I'd like to know:
What springs/weights should be in the distributor,
Which vacuum advance controller should be there also,
How much initial timing should I set it to.
Anything else that would help.
Thanks,
Rich
