In the 1970 model year M-22's came both ways...
Big block Chevelles got 26 spline inputs and 32 spline outputs...
The rest of GM got 10 spline inputs and 27 spline outputs...
I have and M-22 with an April build date from a 1970 Z-28 all original right down to the correct part number tag on the side cover, I was the first to ever open the sidecover...
10 spline input, 27spline output... Hope this helps... Crash
