G'day, I've been running a 427 with a 2x4 setup for many years now and I have a early small port 'Tarantula' intake [the old torker with the twisted carb]This ran strong with an 850dp but I'm thinking of trying an Airgap as from a more modern technological point of view I figure that they'd out perform the older intake?Unfortunately I cant find the flow tech on the early intake.Anyone tried these at all with any comparison?....thanks...Dave

I used one years ago on assorted bracket cars. I always ended up going back to a dual plane of some flavor. The manifold is suppost to increase upper RPM HP with a loss of some low and mid range. The only thing that they did for me was to loose a lot of low and mid range. The cars I used it on weren't street cars but race only cars with either a 4spd or atleast a 5000 convertor.

I have run the torker and it ran real nice!! ,I was more wondering how the torker would stack up against the newer Airgap intake.
