This may sound like a dumb question but I just wanted other people's opnion.
I was removing a very stubborn harmonic balancer off a 454 and striped the threads in the crank. I really don't want to take the crank out of the engine, in order to send it to a shop.
Sence it was so hard to take the balancer off, I was wondering if it's ok to put the balancer back on with out the center bolt?
Has anyone done this before?
