Has anybody done this swap in their Chevelle? I'm sure it's been done, so I'd like to get some info. I believe the Super T-10 is 3/4 of an inch longer than the Saginaw, so do I need to shorten the driveshaft or will the rear yoke take up the slack? I don't want to go over a bump and have my tranny shatter all over the road from the yoke smashing into the output shaft, if you know what I mean. The tranny I have is a Super T-10 from a 79 Camaro Z-28. Is this one of the tranny's with the high nickel content gears and all the later upgrades I have heard about? The input shaft has three grooves cut in the splines; anybody know what gear ratio it might have? Thanks for any info in advance.
