I am getting ready to do a swap of my 350 and a TH-350 for a 396 & TH-400.

I have read a lot of the postings from the search about pulling with or without the trans attached.

If I have to take both out is it easier to do it all together or separate the trans. I do have a tilting bar available so that might make it easier.

How about going back - together or seperate ?

That seemed like the best way to do from a standpoint of reducing the time on my back under the car trying to get the tranny aligned and bolted up.

My 57's radiator upper support bar was removable so it made it a little easier than hefting this combo over the Chevelle's is going to be.
