Whatever else Pats have done or are accused of, they have won more games then most other teams the last 10 years or so and this puts them in an elite group. Ending was poetic justice, looked like they gave it away and a lucky break ends up winning it for them. That's how they lost the last two SB's they were in, so it all evens out.

Still can't believe they didn't hand the ball to Lynch!!!!

I DID NOT, and DO NOT watch pro sports------------------ESPECIALLY FOOTBALL!!!! But I turned it over to the game just to see how it was going and who was ahead. Watched the last 2 minutes and CLEARLY the Seahawks had won. I ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT LAST PLAY by the Seahawk QB! That coach will probably be required to move to South America. GOD, that was dumb!

That wAs such an awesome no drama football game with very little penalties and no unsportsmanlike issues. I can't blame them for starting a fight after they gave it away. Very enjoyable game. Hmmmm now who was talking smack??

Tom, lucky you who never watches sports just happened to watch the exciting conclusion. That's the type of ending us sports fans watch for and occaisionally get to see.

Exciting damn game. Wow. What a finish----

Go Browns.

As usual halftime was a complete joke. I can't believe Kravitz actually got on stage with those nimrods. The commercials were lame. Especially the jeep commercial playing a patriotic song then panning the globe. I was offended.

The game was exciting. Not a big fan of either team, I chose to route for the pats. Just can't stand Robert Sherman. I think fans for each team felt a big spectrum of emotion. Poor poor playcalling lost the game for the hawks. The scuffle at the end of the game was disgraceful.

That horseshoe finally fell out of the Seahawks be-hinds.

Seahawks...... Not because the Patriots are cheaters, or because Brady has the sniffles, but because the Seahawks ARE the better team! GO HAWKS!!!! I hope it IS a blow out!
:D

Better team? Questionable... Looking at the past several games, it looks like the luck finally ran out for Seattle...

Exciting game, especially the last few minutes...

I disagree on the Seahawks last play being a bad choice...

Sure Lynch is pretty good, but the Pats had stopped him before (yeah, he would have had three tries)... I think the quick inside slant was a great play, but Butler said he recognized it, and made a great play... But if Butler hesitated for a split second, the Seahawks would have scored, and likely won...

Thankfully he didn't !

I've been lucky enough to see my hometown teams have great success over the past decade +, but that has to be the most unbelievable finish I can remember. Super bowls 36 and 38 coming down to a field goal were certainly exciting, but I have no words for how this game ended. Ill admit I thought Seattle was going to run away when they got up 10, but my pats proved me wrong.

I kind of understand Seattles logic there, but there is no guarantee Lynch would have made it in for the score which is why Caroll chose to have his offense throw the ball instead. The Pats were already prepared for the run. With one time out if I remember right and under a minute to go, the clock keeps ticking if you try to run the ball in and do not make it. 2 run plays with under a minute is tough to pull off with only one time out, then to go back and try on 4th down would have been very tight on the game clock. I do have to say though, choosing that perticular receiver to throw to was not the best choice. Who would have guessed the route was cut off and ended up with a pick.

I thought for sure this was going to be another Pats loss thanks to a freak pass reception ala 2007. Congrats to the Pats, it was a fun game to watch. I was impartial to both teams. I also didnt see any commercials this year that really got my attention either.

What hurts too is that Lynch was fired up and wanting the ball, they wouldn't have stopped him as they had 2 downs left and the one yard line.
And one Time Out left...two shots at the Endzone with Lynch averaging over 4 yds per carry.

IMO, NE didn't win that game...SEA lost it.

I agree ,The Pats did not win the game , The Hawks " Gave it to them " !
On the one yard line..... Lynch or Wilson, Run it. Dumb call on the Hawks Coaches.
It was a good game.

Wasn't it 2nd down? That makes it 3 shots at the endzone, and I think it was the half yard line. Lynch could fall forward and get 2 yards. I thought my Broncos losing 43-8 last year was bad. I'd so much rather have that than something like this.

2nd & 1 with 20 or 21 seconds left & 1 TO...
Saw that the Seattle OC tweeted that they had the right call & the receiver (Lockett) didn't go strong enough to the ball. A little CYA going on there.
