Dave, Mine went out a while back. I had already rebuilt the old compressor, replaced that rebuilt compressor, repaired the tank, and was on my third motor. The last money I spent some money on and had nearly a grand into the compressor which wasn't worth 400 when it was new. I took it into the local motor/bearing shop thinking maybe I needed to replace bad capacitors. NOPE the windings were bad and I was told the same thing that I could replace it for less than I could repair it for... so my decision was to replace the whole thing... which was 10 years old.
