going to install transmission with over drive but on my stock chevelle on the steering colume the is no overdrive on the shift indicator how can i do this? i beleive my stock has prd12 thanks can i buy a shift indicator with overdrive on it and just slip it in?

In my 77 monte I just took the column apart & filed the stop so the shifter would go past the original Lo gear & engage Lo on the OD trans. The other gears line up fine & no cost to you either.
