Yup. If there hasn't been any posts in the last day, there will show no threads. But its active fairly frequently. And the more the merrier! Plenty of folks with an active build thread going on right now. Will enjoy watching your progress. Looks like you've got a heck of a start!
Thanks I got the thread thing figured out.:hurray:
This build has been going on for a couple months.

I need a moderator to move this to the LSX SECTION !

Love the build! Please keep it in the performance section.

Love it,

I'm doing the same. I have the S400 76/87/1.10
I'm keeping it relatively low key here because it's a Nova.......although I've been on here for a number of years.

Agree, keep it in the Perf Section, it is after all a performance Chevelle.

If you have the room the manifolds look way better forward and down instead of going up. Mine worked great that way and it makes it much cleaner.

I just got my s475 6.0 swap done and it's CRAZY how well it runs:thumbsup:

Sweet build! You're going to love the power and driveability of the turbo LS. Just got back from dinner in the Nova 80 mile round trip. No ringing ears, or smelling like exhaust fumes! lol

What kind of mpg's do you get with that car. I know you run E85. I get right at 20mpgs on trips if I don't rape it. If I am aggressive with it, I get about 15-18mpgs.

Roll Bar was done last winter 2012/2013

Love the pics. Especially keeping the interior stock looking. How are you using the shifter with the console. Don't u have to push the lock for it to go in reverse? I have the same shifter at least by the looks. I wanted to use my factory console but I would have to be able to get to the locking tab.

I will have to check tomorrow I didn't even look in the tank to see how far it was down lol. I did take it pretty easy tonight because I have a POS $3500.00 transmission that keeps burning high gear because ATI built it with a bad pump....:/

Haha yea. It's crazy I can drive the car right thru a crowd of people at a car show or somewhere and I get complements on the paint and look of stance but no one ever suspects what car is capable of lol. Sounds like a 12 sec car at best. I have most the lope tuned out, one thing you can do with efi. ;)

Nice lookin ride Jim, from what I hear and have seen you are gonna love that set up, now hurry up and get done, take it to the track and smoke some big blocks, then drive it home!!:)

I have a buddy that does them pretty cheap. He has put them behind some impressive stuff.

I made a bracket to mount the shifter and a new top plate so the lockout functions properly

Believe it or not I had bought a stock case glide with cheap aftermarket inputshact and tci valvebody. I rebuilt that trans myself (and im not a trans guy). That trans lasted me all summer until I broke a driveline that took out the case with it. That trans was perfect inside when I pulled it apart after many 8sec passes. The new trans was .15-.2 slow right off the bat and started to lose hi gear in under 8 passes. Im going to swap parts from old trans into it but just haven't had time.
