stopped to get some gas and when i pulled out into traffic my car started running like crap. i could could tell a big differance in power and it sounded like it was being smothered in the exhaust.temp went to 210 while at the pump but came back down to190-200.it was not back firing or smoking.were to start first.checked a couple plugs they looked fine. new wires plugs and dist so that should be fine?just letting the motor cool down now.any ideas were to start?

I have seen this a lot from gas stations with water in the tanks from cracks or heavy rains without the cap on tight for the tank. A few customers acidentally put e-85 in and wow that runs poor. Chances are there is water in it, and a few cans of Isopropyl should help you get through untill you get some fresh gas.
