I have two 850 holley dp,s sitting side saddle atop a Weiand 8-71 blower.
I have the Weiand 2x4 throttle linkage.
Currently I have a light return spring on both carbs and a tv cable attached to the linkage also.
Is this overkill?My throttle is extremely hard to operate by foot..but smooth and easy with return springs and tv cable removed.
At this point..I would say the throttle pressure reqd to operate is twice what a single 4bbl would be.Not very nice and sure not safe with this blown bbc.
Can you guys post up some pics of your linkage and springs.I would like to add that the tv cable requires considerable effort to pull out to full travel.
