I kinda had a discussion at work yesterday along the same lines, but then one of the gals that drives a Mazda asked me how I can afford to drive my Chevelle everyday with the gas prices the way they are. I had her work through the math of how many miles I drive a year and compared that same mileage with her car. I only average about 140 miles a week so it turns out I'm spending an extra $550.00 or so on gas compared to what she's spending. Shes a smoker, so I said, you spend your money on cigarettes....I spend my money on gas.
