I found the top of the drivers side cylinder is leaking badly when top is operated. Is there any tricks on removing them? Once I get it out, i am going to try to replace the o rings, but i dont see how it comes out.

Anybody? The directions I have say to lower the roof, then romove the bolts for the bracket. Thats easy, but how do I get the far side bolt off that goes into the cylinder? It doesnt even look like it is screwed in, the cylinder flops around on that bolt, but there is no room to pull it off. And with the top down, I cant get to the bolt that has the arm attached to the roof. The bolt spins around with the nut.
I cut thru the bolts with a sawsall; I know it sounds crazy but it worked and I had zero damage. Read the post on this convertable site called "Conv.top electrics"
Sorry, my computer was down. Apparently, the top has to be up, then take off the top hydrollic cylinder arm bolt off. Then take off the 3 bolts (maybe 4, dont remember) that holds the braket to the frame. Once that is loose, remove the hydrollic hoses, then pull out the whole braket with cylinder still attached. One the unit is removed, then the two bolts that hold the bracket to cylinder will come out easy. good luck.
