My car is really down to almost nothing now. Front clip off, no doors, no interior(except dash), convertible roof w/frame is removed and hanging from ceiling.
I still have the AC compressor hooked up (and charged I think?). How do I get it off so that I can get the body off.
I started out not wanting to remove the body, but it's this far so why not??

Note, since it's a convertible I will stiffen the door area prior to removal.

DId the quick 1/10 sec valve check and it has pressure.
I fully agree that the refrigerant should NOT be discharged to the atmosphere.
I can't get it to a shop. I forgot to mention, the engine and trans are also out.

HELP!!

Thanks Dean. I'll get in touch with some local guys to come over and evacuate it. Any idea on possible cost?
