this may be a dumb question, but for those of you that used 4x4's, etc to span the body for supporting it with jackstands, how did you raise the body up in order to get the jackstands in there with the frame still there, in the way? sounds like a couple engine hoists perhaps, but is there another way to do this if you only had one hoist?
Sorry to hijack the thread, but have been trying to figure out a good way to pull the body up, since I do not have the suspension on it, or an engine, etc. attached. I do have a wooden dolly that is supporting the entire assembly and figured I'd use a dolly for the frame, but am a little unclear how to get the body up in the air in the first place with just one hoist.
