I'm looking for that original look on my restoration on my Forest Green 70 Convertible. Looks like the factory used Red Oxide primer and sprayed the inner body (doors and floor, etc)

What I'm looking for is a newer red oxide primer system with todays high quality, possibly a 2 part system.

Anybody know whats good and easy to spray? Also reasonably fast drying?
And look original?

Thanks, musclecarkid

Most every major paint mfg. still offers a red oxide primer. Unfortunatly most of these are acrylic lacquer, which is not recomended under todays bc/cc systems. There are many 2k primers out there that can be tinted with up to 10% toner. Your jobber should be able to tint a 2k primer or sealer to your specs.
