Going through the mess that my PO had and redoing mostly everything

world sportsman heads 9:1 comp
weiand 671 blower
114lsa cam, don't know rest of specs
dual edelbrock 1405 carbs.

the heads call for a 14mm .460 reach tapered seat spark plug. Anybody have any reccomendations on where to start as far as part #'s for plugs go?

Darko,sent you email.

BTW,Take 5 mins to call World Products (lookup their phone # on website),then simply ask for the Technical dept and they should be able to rec a plug for a good starting heatrange to use with their heads.

Remember to choose a plug on the cooler side and work your way up with a blower so you dont run into issues of too hot of a plug that could help to lead detonation if fuel calibration was lean, timing was adv too far along with poor fuel like the low 91-93 octain crap sold today which could collectively lead to disaster.

I'd definately try the cooler 43s 1st,if the fuel calibration ,timing, and ign system is good and the 43's foul after a while then try 44's.

But if the 43's foul rather quickly then you may need to step up to 45's .

I got the car a few weeks ago and have been redoing a lot of things. The guy had a boost gauge hooked right under the carb and I moved it to under the blower on the manifold where it should be. I don't know exactly how much boost it shows yet because the gauge goes to 60psi and its hard to tell how much it actually makes. I'm going to pick up one of those 30hg/20psi gauges in the next few days to be able to tell how much boost I have.

I have 93 octane here and with 9:1 comp and iron heads I'm going to run as much boost as I can without detonating. I've also been debating methanol injection to be able to get soem more boost out of it.

I just bit the bullet and bought a FAST dual 02 wideband, so I'm anxious to see how close I got it tuning wise.
