I have my car for trade on this site, I'm getting friend requests , which is nice and all but no interest in the car. Kinda seems like most of the car ads on there are from the east coast/mid America /southern states...

Anyone use this site? Good? Bad? Eh?

They have a forum with a scammer section. Great group of guys over there. Go there and check on anyone you plan to deal with. Those guys are very helpful in spotting a scam or dealing with any problems that come up. I am a forum member but never bought or sold. Most on the forum buy and sell and can help you.

I have bought a race car from an ad I saw on racingjunk and it worked out well. But I had a blown BBC that I was selling here in Australia that turned up on racingjunk for sale by a guy from Texas. He took the photos and the text, word for word and copied and pasted into a racingjunk ad. I sent an email to the racingjunk people and they yanked the ad immediately. A lot of scammers on there, but probably no different to anywhere else.

THIS is exactly why I say drop in the forum with the ad number you are dealing with and those guys can look at it and help.

There's nothing wrong with my car, the motor screeeeams, looks good, etc. but I can't help it, it's up for trade and I've hardly had it a month.

I have tried to sell performance parts there. Nothing sold, infact I had a hard time finding my parts when I did a search.

I bought my Chevelle in 2006 from someone who had it listed on Racingjunk. I wouldn't deal with anyone unless they're within driving distance.

Thanks guys. Yeah I wouldn't trade blindly . I'd have to see it first. Just weird to me there are very few cars listed from the west coast or close to it
