I am in the process of converting my 72 over to a 70 front end. I have the sheetmetal laying around and was curious to know if the same brackets used to mount my 72 core support to the frame are the same ones to use when I bolt up the new 70 core support. I'm talking about the little 90 degree brackets that sit on the bushings and attach on each side of the radiator.

Cool! Thanks for the help, I didnt want to tear my car down only to find out that these little brackets wouldnt bolt up to the frame!

know that will work. doing the same thing myself. 72 to a 70. that is a part i got to reuse.

70 core support itself is different than 71-72 though.

71-72 only has 2 head lights to mount, where the 70 has 4.

And since the headlight extension is different between 70 and 71/72 the holes in the fender are different.
