Not sure what it should be but it's nothing more than a very long piece of copper wire. It shouldn't have much resistance, depends on the sensitivity of your meter

 

Primary resistance: .355 OHMs
Secondary resistance: 4.4K OHMs

I have this same coil and it is a few years old with no known problems. I tested mine so maybe you could compare findings...

Primary Resistance is .5 ohms

Secondary Resistance is 4.53 ohms

I am no expert, but if it reads zero it is no good.

 

It shouldn't be 0 but .35 isn't much. If you don't have a good meter that is properly zeroed it could easily read 0.

 

Ok now that I've put the meter on the right setting...lol...it actually reads .9
Which appears to be to much. The car however still runs and drives. Its the higher rpm area that I have a problem.

 

If it is the epoxy 8207 switching to the oil filled round type Blaster 8202 will perform better. It produces a hotter spark and is less prone to over heating and winding failure.

 

If your meter doesnt zero when you touch the leads together, you'll need to subtract that # from the number you get when you test the coil to get the actual reading.

 

Yeah, thats what I figured now. So everything is actually good.
