That car if it is as clean (rust free) as it appears is a decent buy out here. Those cars are really drying up in California. I paid $3200 for mine 6 years ago and it had rusty drivers floor pan, front and rear windows. I look but they aren't out there...

I think the seller is a little high on the price. Couldn't get a set of steel wheels with bald tires???? Also piss poor pictures. $1k-$1.5k seems more reasonable for what I see.

If not a rust bucket, maybe $1000 and just keep it a bit of a "rat rod" driver. My budget style,, satin black, everything used from Craigslist and run it. Maybe a wrecking yard LS 5.3? Around 3K invested when running.

Sorry I meant $1K-$1.5K less than what the seller is asking. In other words I feel a more appropriate price would be $3K or so.

I would NOT pay 4500 for that! WOW! I would pay MAYBE 500 for that. I could get a car with everything for 500 dollars tops around here with minimal rust....
$500??? For a 2 door??? Show me.... I'll be there today with cash and a trailer.....

On a side note.... A buddy up in Oroville bought a '67 sport sedan that ran and drove for $300 4 years ago. He used what he could on his '66 2 door post and parted out the rest.

If i was in the market i would go look. You cant tell anything with lousy pictures. My friend went to look at a complete 1966 chevelle a couple years ago. Three on the tree two door 283. No gas tank. Needed lower quarters. Guy was firm at $4500.alot of car guys local passed it by. He bought it, ran a gas can to it fired it off. A buddy had a extra gas tank and he was driving it in less than a week for less than $100. Then the same guys that thougbt it wasnt worth tje $4500 started coming out with cash in hand wanting to buy the thing. Now its sitting on a powder coated frame with a big block four speed and a 12 bolt. Jim
