UPDATE:

Well thanks to Vince(69-CHVL) I ended up picking up some nice used low mile Isky EZ-X solid roller lifters. Im going to save the hyd roller stuff just in case I want to swap back.
But for now is solid roller time! Nothing crazy at all..should be very streetable. Went with a XR286R and do 1.8/1.7 rockers. Specs:

286/292...248/254....691/660...110

Should give around 6100/6200 peak power with a 6500 rpm shift point.

SAAAWEET !! ..funny i was reading the posts ,and kept thinking ...he needs more camshaft !!! that little 236 @ .050 cam is a waste. i was going too suggest a 250 @ .050 and .680 lift / and your right there ! NOW it may make 650hp ... it will run 10s if it hooks ?

I think Ron is going to have a killer motor....but Jason, you really think a small cam is a waste? If it's the right small cam it's not....;)

Better factor in a few more $$$ for a full cage.

Nice cam choice

Nice lifter choice too :D

Very good choice of lifters, now theres no worry about needle bearings going through the engine.

Man, what a sweet car - and now she's gonna be sportin' a solid roller BIG block! What color is that paint? The light stripes look very cool on that darker gray.

Sounds good!!

yep, drag mode is awesome. Should be fun. great car.

Thanks again guys I cannot wait to get it done!

Adam the color is graphite grey metallic and the stripes are reflex silver metallic.

Davey the lifters do not have needle bearings but special bushings.
