It's a 4.3, 4 dr, 4WD, around 120K, had the tranny rebuilt at about 90K. Lately I notice the engine winding up more than seems normal. Not the fan clutch. It's going to like 3,000 in low,22-24 MPH. I've checked the TPS, the MAF, Temp, all the usual stuff. Why would this thing start late shifting? Any bright ideas?
