I know this is a bit elementary, but I'm running the juice for the frist time this weekend and have had various input on timing retard so wanted to see what the always helpfull folks here have to say.

I'm running an NOS plate kit on my 454 (70 Chevelle). The system is good to go, excellent fuel supply, etc. I'm running a 100 shot on a 450-500hp motor at the crank. I have forged pistons, crank, etc. Bottle pressure guage also.

Some have said I don't need to take any timing out for that low of a shot and was just wondering what ya'll thought. I will be running 110 octane at the track as well if that matters, but would also like your thoughts on 93 octane.

Thanks a bunch as always.
