D/A was 2200-2500ft. I made no changes since last time out except move the rev limiter from 7k to 7250 as it was starting to come on last time out before the finish line. I also loosened the shocks back up because I didnt think the track prep would be as good at a nostalgia type race vs a bracket race. Boy was I wrong, I will post a link to the pics once the photographer gets them up on his website.

p.s. ;) you'll notice that I tripped the beams with the back wheels again on the last two passes.

Re: New bests....getting closer

Damn!!! NICE!!!

Big Bob rode out those big wheelies too. Well past the sixty foot lights as he stated and didn't even crunch the oil pan or headers, much higher than the Ozark wheelies i saw pictures of. He said the secret is to leave the rubber snubbers on the lower "a" frames.

It was good to see you Harold, maybe again on Nov. 1 at MoKan?? The MAKO, Vamp race.

Some folks will tell you that a wheelie is wasted motion when in fact when I tripped the beams with the rear tires the e.t.'s were quicker. You can 60ft quicker on two wheels than 4 ;)

There's guys with lots more radical combo's that aren't pulling that much MPH in a Chevelle!

Congratulations!!
