Can you believe that the insurance company charges me more for this a month than my Chevelle? Entry level sports car my butt!!! This is the SPORT model too! I'd hate to see the base model #s...

Not to add insult to injury, but I ran my bone stock 04' Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Duramax/Alison crew cab 4x4 pickup truck over the weekend and here's the incrementals from the best pass:

60' - 2.760
330' - 7.314
1/8 - 11.105
MPH - 64.57
1000' - 14.374
1/4 - 17.166
MPH - 80.15

:D

Ken, I'm pretty sure that was the biggest vehicle I ever saw make a pass. They should add another data point to the timeslip called "kinetic energy" or something like that. Just multiply vehicle weight by the MPH. You would have probably had the highest score.

Regards,
It's not as bad as it seems. I broke second gear in my Chevelle racing the Summit Points program on April 10. I'm in the process of rebuilding the transmission myself. I took my truck over to Commerce hoping it would run fast enough so that I could stay alive in the points, but the cut off for the sportsman class is 17 seconds. Unfortunately I was too slow to race and therefore got no points. :(
