This is regarding MS Office 2000 software.
I was typing a document in MS Word and accidentally hit a wrong key or two and a slipped finger down on the keyboard. Now I'm getting these funny symbols in my documents, including ones I have saved in the past. Sounds like some kind of default change or something, but damned if I can figure out what I actually did and how to get rid of the symbols. They only appear on the screen in the document and do not get printed.
Here are a few examples:
- Every time I hit the Enter key it shows a "backwords P" which I assume represents the end of a paragraph.
- For every spacebar it shows a "dot" in the middle of the text line.
- For every tab it shows an "arrow" in the text line.
This is really freaking me out and is very confusing when looking at your document on the screen.
I would appreciate any ideas people.
