Had this posted in the Restoration Corner. Only had one reply, which was just a idea for a patch job. So I thought I would try here.

Been looking at some NEW replacement steering columns.
This would give me a floor shift column (no shift lever) plus upgrade the 40 year old parts. But I have a few questions about this upgrade.

1). What length would I order? It's a 1969 Chevelle Malibu c/w power steering.
2). Looking at some replacements and it looks like I have to use a remote key switch for the ignition?
3). Some replacements use a after market steering wheel only?

These are the ones I have been looking at.

Sure could use some help from some one that has done this before.
Not to worried about factory correct.
Using a B&M Quick Silver floor shift (auto).
Thank you in advance.
