FWIW, this is how I was told to route the whole thing, using a special power steering reservoir designed for hydro boost set-ups. I never tried it. But I was told that doing it this way eliminates some problems because it avoids using the T fittings. I hope this helps.

My engine bay looks like Medusa's butt with factory Tahoe steering hoses running everywhere but it works very well. I've autocrossed and road raced with the setup pictured and only issue I'm running into is not having a cooler for the ps fluid.

I am running a factory HB PS pump with two independent return fittings at the reservoir.

Do you think a P/S fluid cooler would even be needed if the car in question would just be street driven?
