Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Birmingham Alabama ?
I've got a "71 Chevelle with a 350 motor Vortec heads and have developed a bad stumble and have tried everything I can to fix to no avail.
Replaced accelerator pump, accelerator pump cam, increased squirter size...no help.
Once you get going, like on the interstate it runs fine, but from dead stop it stalls and basically is no fun to drive.
Does any fellow forum member know of a good mechanic in the Birmingham area they would recommend ?

I realize you've replace the Accelerator Pump and its Cam, but did you adjust the Pump Arm throw so that the pump is discharging (squirting) when you actually need it to? It may be shooting its load too soon or too late or not at all...
